In the beginning, Hanson would perform at local Tulsa venues from schools to water parks, anywhere they could! In Autumn of `94 Hanson recorded their first albumn "Boomerang" which was an r'n b type album with covers and a few original songs too. In `96 Hanson recorded then second CD "MMMMBop" which was all original songs, played with instruments this time.
Back in `94 Hanson first sung for Christopher Sabec at a major music conference "South By SouthWest" in Austin Texas. Then at the Mayfest Tulsa festival in `96 Christopher Sabec saw them perform on stage again, he then began sending out demos of "MMMBop" of which Steve Greenberg of Mercury Records, received a copy and agreed to sign them to his label.
Before Hanson hit the big time, they lived in countries such as Ecuador, Trinidad and Venezuela as their dad was working for an oil industry. During this time they listened to a timelife classic of 50`s and 60`s rock 'n' roll tapes as their were no English radio stations! Their influences range from Chuck Berry, to the Beatles to Envouge to Lenny Kravitz!
