Zac has written a blog on Hanson.net "Ok. So we are done with the next album". Zac says they are hoping to plan a tour in the fall (Sep-Nov).

"Rock Boat Done! What Next?
I want to start by saying I am really glad so many people came on The Rock Boat. I saw a lot of familier faces, and most of them were smiling and having a good time (the other ones were in a drunken stuper). I don't know if we will be doing The Rock Boat in the future, but it was a very positive experience.
Right now we are writing for the next album as well as working on the new membership kit. We are about to do this year's Fools Banquet, and are also planning a members only event in Tulsa for May. We have been thingking a lot about the film Strong Enough to Break and when we might put that out on DVD, as well as what would go with it (extras, demos, etc.). So keep your eyes and ears pealed for an announcement about that in the next few weeks.
I hope everyone who ordered chocolates enjoys them! For anyone who did not have a chance to get them...sounds like we need to make more next time.

"The boys are back in town: Keep your eyes peeled for Hanson. I just got word from the band's publicist, Ken Phillips, that the brothers will take a break this spring to return to the studio in downtown Tulsa. Phillips said Hanson plans to release a new album later this year, the first since 2007's "The Walk," from the trio's own label, 3CG Records.
The three brothers have moved the offices for their feisty indie music empire here. "We're never leaving Tulsa," Taylor Hanson said in March.
